Located in east-central Mississippi, Mossy Oak Golf Club needed to quickly build a reputation for quality and define what it means to play Nature’s Golf. Each step was vital to attract the avid golf traveler, which defined the destinations core market.
KemperLesnik designed a messaging strategy that placed the appeal of nature’s golf at the forefront with its golf course architect Gil Hanse, who had just completed the Olympics’ golf course in Brazil. The combination of the Hanse’s new star power and the partnership story between outdoor icons Mossy Oak and the legendary Old Waverly Golf Club of Mississippi proved a winning formula with the media.
