KemperLesnik Promotes Taryn Parker to Vice President
CHICAGO, May 31, 2022 – KemperLesnik today announced the promotion of Taryn Parker from Group Account Director to Vice President. Parker joined KemperLesnik in February of 2020 as a Group Account Director leading the agency’s sports, golf and resorts clients.
Even through the pandemic, Parker has managed an expanding team and a growing client roster, serving accounts such as KitchenAid, the PGA, Streamsong Resort, KemperSports, Big Cedar Lodge, and many others. She has become known as a sound PR strategist, a solid manager of people, an organized practitioner and one of the agency’s key leaders.
“From a business perspective, since the lowest point in the pandemic, when many of Taryn’s clients were closed, events did not happen and general PR programs were paused, she has built back her business, added multiple new clients and secured project work from many of her existing clients,” said Amy Littleton, Managing Director of KemperLesnik. “As further proof of her performance, Taryn won the agency’s Rookie of the Year award last year and was named this year’s Excellence in Agency Services award winner.”
Parker received her degree in Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa, and spent nine years at Taylor, a sports and lifestyle PR agency, where she worked in both the college and professional sports space. In her new position, Parker will continue to use her years of experience in media relations, creative and strategic planning, client management, and event execution (including Final Fours, college football championships, the Allstate Sugar Bowl, NFL and NBA drafts, KitchenAid Sr. PGA Championships, the Super Bowl, and more) to drive impactful results for her clients.
