Scott Janess is a 20+ year veteran in events and sports marketing. He leads the event team in activating brand sponsorships and events for BlueCross BlueShield, Weber Grill, Whirlpool's KitchenAid brand and in producing events such as the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, McDonald's All American Games, CBS Sports Classic, Windy City Wine Festival presented by US Bank and Naperville Wine Festival presented by Calamos Investments & Northwestern Mutual.
Janess joins KemperLesnik through its acquisition of his firm inPLAY EVENTS, which he founded in 2000 producing more than 75 festivals across the country. Previously, he worked for IMG, serving as an egent to PGA and LPGA TOUR professionals and was charged with creating and selling sponsorship and hospitality programs. Janess is a KemperLesnik alumnus, having spent the early years of his career with the agency. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Dayton.
