The KemperLesnik (www.kemperlesnik.com) team recently hosted a unique fundraiser to benefit relief efforts in Haiti. The event, “Chicago Heroes for Haiti,” was a resounding success — raising close to $4,000 for UNICEF’s work in Haiti and beating the agency team’s fundraising goal by close to 20 percent.
“One of KemperLesnik’s missions is to give back, and the staffers at the agency deeply believed in this charge. When the earthquake struck in Haiti, we knew we needed to do our part,” said Amy Littleton, vice president at KemperLesnik. “We chose UNICEF, immediately began planning and produced a considerable donation in less than three weeks. I am very proud to work with such a fantastic group of people.”
